MY STORY

Behind the Words

I was born and raised in New Hampshire where I quickly found an interest in broadcast and meteorology. I attended Lyndon State College from 2015-2017 for Atmospheric Sciences and Broadcast Journalism.
During my time in college, I became involved in a media group called SVL Media LLC, providing live streams and generic b-roll packages for NBC, ABC, Good Morning America and The Weather Channel. I began a very close working connection with TWC, covering a few storms along the east coast.
In 2017 I was offered an internship with WeatherNation TV, a growing company providing 24/7 weather and live storm chasing to their viewers, covering all forms of weather coverage alongside Ben McMillan. In this role I moved up to becoming their videographer and in-field producer.
In 2019, accepting a position with NBC Nebraska Scottsbluff - KNEP serving the panhandle as an MMJ/Reporter I gave heartwarming stories and took on breaking news segments such as car crashes, investigations and still continued to teach about weather through my packages. I took on anchoring and producing the two weekday evening shows taking on more responsibilities.
I have been known for bettering the local content we put on-air. Our reviews went from non-local to an A Block completely stacked with local content. We went from a voicemail being full of suggestions on things we could change or do better with to receiving calls about what they love that we do.
I have created my own segment made just for this small community where viewers can send in what they have been doing throughout the pandemic, to which it has picked up in popularity. This helped me form a better working relationship with our community members as I continued to provide, in a unique way, local content.
In this stage of my career I stepped in as an anchor as the pandemic had restricted our abilities and original contacts, events and overall stories. I have done the best of my abilities through this time to make sure viewers know what is going on in the region without making the entire show about the pandemic. What viewers find from me is a show full of puns, well-balanced motion when delivering any type of news, they see someone passionate about listening to them and telling their story.
My reviews on my personal page are highlighting my ability to make interviews more comfortable and personable without fearing me skewing their words and original meaning.
I have told my story but let me get the honor of telling yours whether that is on the east or west coasts, the gulf or the northeast I can’t wait to see where I go as I continue to grow.

QUARANTINE KARAOKE

March 2020

The world is under lock-down with the height of Covid-19. Sometimes the only thing to lift your spirits is music... but how about karaoke?

WINTER STORM COVERAGE

March 2020

When weather strikes I am always ready to be out in the field. Hurricanes, flooding, blizzards, tornadoes - you name it and I am there.
